Abhishek Has A Modest Reply To Man Who Slammed Him For Having More Followers Than Prachi Desai

3 years ago 294

The nepotism debate in Bollywood has once again surfaced after the sudden departure of B-Town actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra. It was said that he was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for it. Soon some reports were published which claimed that Sushant lost some movies to the star kids and he was also banned by few big filmmakers of the industry.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut alleged that Sushant’s life was taken in a planned manner and she also accused Karan Johar and some other filmmakers of pushing Sushant into depression. She further went on to state that nepotism is also one of the reasons for Sushant being depressed. Soon people started trolling and slamming the star kids and the level of hatred can be understood by the number of dislikes received by Alia Bhatt starrer “Sadak 2”.

Recently, one Twitter user @AkshittSinghal pulled Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan in this outsider vs nepotism debate and compared Junior B’s followers on Twitter with the followers of actress Prachi Desai.

The man wanted to convey that people don’t respect the talent because of which Prachi is followed by only 1.3M people while the count of Abhishek’s followers is 15.3M. The Twitter user also asked people to support the talented outsiders and not those who are in the industry because of nepotism.

The tweet read,

“OUTSIDER VS NEPOTISM

@ItsPrachiDesai – 1.3M followers

@juniorbachchan – 15.3M followers

And you guys are expecting good from #Bollywood. I mean How?

It’s high time that we should start appreciating and supporting #talent

Not #face / #Nepotism”

Much to his surprise, the “Guru” star has responded to this tweet and assured the user that the count of followers is not the parameter of talent, popularity or acceptance. He also adds that his friend Prachi Desai is very talented and her work speaks loudly for her.

Here is what AB Junior tweeted: “I assure you Mr Singhal the amount of followers you have on social media is by no means a barometer of acceptance or popularity or talent. My friend @ItsPrachiDesai is a very talented actor and doesn’t need social media to endorse that. Her work speaks for itself.”

This was not the first time that Abhishek Bachchan was unnecessary trolled but as usual he replied in a cool and calm manner, letting the world know that he is a sorted and matured individual. Twitter also loved his reply and this is how netizens praised the actor:

Also, 15 Mn people have not been forced to follow @juniorbachchan .
People follow as per their wish and will. Nothing to do with nepotism or skills.

At times, I wonder the way he manages to keep his cool over the tweets which are very poor in taste and sometimes too difficult to resist to slap the person

He reverts with such a polite reply that the sender, if hv self respect, would regret sending such tweet

Junior b has proved his acting skill in movie like ravaan, guru , Yuva, Dostana, Delhi 6 and Manmarziyaan.
His works spoke when he was good. His daddy was not acting in place of him . So stop this nepotism drama. It's talent which speaks on screen. Stop becoming kangana bakht

Abhishek is one of the rarest gentle gem of the industry
Nepotism is raised by for whom grapes are sour
Acceptance of talents doesn't see whether he is a star kid or influential person
It's been carried to far by people having no talents

Well said Abhishek bro. Cheers ..
Haters and sarcastic people will keep commenting. But they do not see the hard work and dedication any actor puts. Whether it's Prachi or Junior B.
Waiting for Breathe next season eagerly!!

Also..@juniorbachchan has faced his fair share of struggle despite being a brilliant actor(case in point Guru, Manmarziyaan, Paa, Refugee, Breathe, LOC and many many more)..anybody accusing him of being a part of nepotism needs to get their facts checked!!
