"It turned into a travesty. I couldn’t finish the final season. A lot of people say it should have ended after Dean came back and lived a happy life. That would have been a fine finale. I would have been fine with Sam still coming back and having 2-3 seasons to wrap everything up. But once the mother came back I was out."

They dragged it on for ten seasons due to its popularity, but when series creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough left the show changed completely. The whole vibe was different. They introduced Lois Lane in season four. Four! And dragged it out for six more years!"
